      Native American Contributions to Our Country

      The Thanksgiving season brings new opportunities to appreciate Native American contributions to our nation’s history and culture. From pumpkins and pineapples, and maps and medicines, to ideas about liberty, government, and environmental stewardship, the Native American imprint on our past is inescapable.

      Learn more about Native Americans in war and peace, from the forgotten patriot allies in the American Revolution to the famous code talkers of the First and Second World Wars.

      This program takes place on Tuesday, November 19 at 6:30 pm at Gwinnett County Public Library’s Collins Hill Branch, 455 Camp Perrin Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. It is free and open to the public.
