      Event Description

      Turn up the volume at the High with great music, signature drinks, and our reimagined galleries on the first Friday of every month. Our galleries stay open late for special tours, drawing demonstrations, live music, and featured guests. It’s happy hour meets art party from 6 to 9 p.m.January HIGH Frequency Friday

      Drink and Draw

      Drop in for drawing lessons with Georgia State University instructor Michael Fisher-Tolley. All levels welcome!
      Gesture, Then Shape, Then Form: We will focus on getting a loose silhouette of the figure with loose, sloppy gesture drawing. We’ll then refine the edges into a silhouette, measuring distances and angles to ensure that the shape is accurate. Finally, we will turn that flat shape into a three-dimensional form with cross-contour lines, striving to understand the body’s volume in space.
