De-Risking Projects Open Workshop in Atlanta

De-Risking Projects Open Workshop This is the most recent offering from The AIM Institute, and was developed after watching large B2B companies squander millions of dollars needlessly on “risky” projects. In just one day, you’ll learn a radically-new approach to slashing risk in your projects—be they high-stakes projects or forays into unfamiliar markets. Check out this one-day simulation—taught personally by Dan Adams and Ron Pierantozzi—and see what you’ve been missing! Note: This workshop occurs immediately after a 2-day New Product Blueprinting workshop in the same location. Schedule: 1 day, April 2, 2020. The day begins with a continental breakfast, 7:45-8:30am. The course runs 8:30am-4:30pm. Location: The workshop will be held at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Technology Square – the heart of Midtown Atlanta’s thriving retail neighborhood – we’re only moments from the city’s best restaurants, coolest shops and most fascinating attractions. Visit the High Museum of Art, the Fox Theatre, explore the Georgia Aquarium or stroll through Midtown Atlanta.  What you’ll learn: This workshop was developed by The AIM Institute “from the ground up”… so nearly everything will be new to you. You’ll learn how to generate FAQS risk factors, create a consumption chain, use AIM’s new MinesweeperTM software, properly rate Impact and Certainty, interpret a Minesweeper “Certainty Matrix,” categorize 6 “buckets” of risk, build a CheckPoint plan, communicate your de-risking plan to management, and de-risk completely unfamiliar markets. Join us and get on a path to slash risk at your company. Attire: Business casual: Consider a light sweater or jacket for your comfort. Fee: $1495. Includes all program materials, continental breakfasts, lunch and light snacks. Early Bird Discounts: A $300 "super early bird" discount is available until 60 days prior to the workshop and a $150 “regular early bird” discount is available until 30 days prior to the workshop.  Next Steps: 1) Use the Order Now button at the top to register for this workshop. 2) Book your sleeping room. We recommend the Georgia Tech Hotel, which is conveniently adjacent to the Global Learning Center, providing a covered walkway access on the second floor and a shared covered parking deck. Hotel Reservations: Several hotels are available in the area. Clients usually choose to stay at one of the following hotels: Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Midtown (1/4 mile away from Georgia Tech and two blocks from Midtown MARTA Station) Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel (1/3 mile away from Georgia Tech, with complimentary car service) Regency Suites Hotel (1/2 mile away from Georgia Tech and close to MARTA) Information: For a 10-minute video, white paper, and more information please see our Project De-Risking page. For logistics details, contact For other questions, contact Special Offer for You and Your Colleagues: Consider coming two days earlier for the Blueprinting front-end of B2B innovation workshop on March 31 - April 1 at a specially discounted price, or if you have a colleague focused on new product development, share this opportunity with them.
