American Hydrangea Society: Erica Glasener, “Hydrangeas for Every Garden”

Erica Glasener is a horticulturist, author, and nationally known speaker. She has a passion for all things green and has devoted her career to inspiring others to appreciate plants and the benefits of gardening. Although she is known for hosting A Gardener’s Diary on HGTV, in recent years she has worked at Gibbs Gardens, Historic Oakland Cemetery, ParkPride, and as the Senior Producer for Growing A Greener World. Hosted by Joe Lamp’l, this show covers sustainable gardening, and airs on PBS stations across the U.S. Currently she works at the Piedmont Park Conservancy as the Community Involvement and Events Manager.

Growing hydrangeas in her own garden brings her great pleasure, despite the weeds that sometimes defeat her.

This is a free event in partnership with the American Hydrangea Society. Reservations are recommended.
