      EVENT DETAILS
African-American Book Discussion & Lecture Series @ North Cobb Regional Library

Join us for North Cobb Regional Library’s new African-American Book Discussion series as we read books that feature note-worthy African-Americans in history one month and we enhance the book by inviting current community leaders to lecture about the book prior to the book discussion.

All are invited to hear a lecture from City of South Fulton public defender Viveca Powell on Eunice Carter and black women who have served as pioneers in the legal system. Ms. Powell has been featured in many media organizations that highlighted her work as part of the City of South Fulton Courthouse team that is headed by all black women.
