While people think of the predominant music of Atlanta as being rap and hip hop, the city also has a rich history of country, folk, and roots music. This is exactly what you'll find on the schedule of Eddie's Attic in nearby Decatur, which has been featuring excellent regional musicians since 1992.
Located on North Mcdonough Street in the heart of Decatur, Eddie's Attic is the number one spot in the city to find great live music. It's also one of the best places in the Atlanta area to find great folk and country music, and many of the musicians scheduled are friends of the famous musicians that got their start at Eddie's. This includes John Mayer, Sugarland, and Shawn Mullins, whose music has helped craft the scene currently found at Eddie's Attic. In addition to great music, the club also serves a varied menu of delectable American and Southern cuisine to accompany audiences' night of entertainment.
Check the schedule above to see if any of your favorite regional artists will be playing at Eddie's Attic soon, and remember to stop by the club to pick up tickets in advance.
