Event Description Less than 10% of Wikipedia’s editors are women.
      Let’s change that.

Less than 17% of Wikipedia’s biographies are about women. Wikipedia’s gender gap leaves us with an alarming lack of representation in the world’s most popular online research tool. Join us for the Art+Feminism Edit-a-Thon and be part of an international movement to improve coverage of women and the arts on Wikipedia.

      • Take a tour and learn about women artists
      • Learn how Wikipedia works
      • Become a Wikipedia editor—it’s easier than you think!
      • Edit, update, and create Wikipedia articles related to art, gender, and intersectional feminism, with a focus on women artists in the High’s collection. Did we mention there are prizes?
      • Show us a what a feminist looks like in the photo booth, make your own button, and check out our Feminist Shop feature

No Wikipedia experience necessary; We will provide training sessions for beginner Wikipedians. Even if you’re editing-averse, come by to show your support and enjoy the festivities. If you want to edit, bring your laptop, power cord, and ideas for articles. People of all gender identities are welcome!

Pre-registration is now open! Entry is free with pre-registration.
