2019 ThriveHER: Surviving to Thriving - A Domestic Violence Awareness Event

Established in 2016, Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation, Inc is a 501(c)3 approved nonprofit, charitable organization that advocates for survivors/victims of abuse and acts to spread awareness is pleased to share that we will be hosting our 4th Annual Brunch & Fundraiser on September 28, 2019.  Our 2019 Domestic Violence Awareness event’s theme is “ThriveHER: From Surviving to Thriving" Brunch & Fundraiser". It will place emphasis on increasing awareness of domestic violence within cultural and religious settings to bridge the gaps in support systems for domestic violence survivors/victims and their families. As we lead into the month of October, we will also recognize Breast Cancer Awareness as it shares the month of October with Domestic Violence Awareness and is a very important subject matter. The event will include Key Note Speakers, Entertainment, a full brunch and delectable desserts, our signature silent auction, an award ceremony, event ambassadors (Survivor Stories), vending experience, and an opportunity for guests to take in education on both DVAM and BCA, be inspired and empowered while supporting two great causes at one VERY POWERFUL event! The funds obtained through ticket sales and silent auction will be used towards continuing our overall efforts. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local domestic violence awareness program. * Your generous, tax deductible donation to Women of Virtue Transitional Foundation (WOVTF) will change lives!* *The dress code is dressy, purple or pink attire is encouraged though not required. * Please see media from our past events by visiting the photos page of web site.
